Titanium alloy used in military industry
(Grade1, UNS R50250, 3.7024, CP-4) Pure titanium is 伪 Phase titanium is a commercial pure titanium with high purity, low strength and excellent room temperature ductility. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good low-temperature impact performance at low temperature, and good weldability. Grade1 pure titanium can be deep drawn and used to make plates, frame elements and heat exchangers.

This alloy is widely used because it combines excellent formability with medium strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It has good corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing and slightly reducing environments (including chlorides). And easy to weld, cold and hot processing and machining.
(Grade3, UNS R50550, 3.7054, CP-2) Commercial pure titanium is unalloyed titanium. Compared with commercial pure titanium Grades1 and Grades2, it has higher mechanical strength, moderate ductility and good weldability. It has excellent corrosion resistance in different environments.
(Grade4, UNS R50700, 3.7064, CP-1) is a high-strength unalloyed titanium in commercial pure titanium. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good formability and weldability, but low ductility. It is mainly used for aerospace structures, engine parts, ships, medical implants and equipment, hydraulic pipes and instrument pipes, cryogenic vessels, and heat exchangers that require high strength.

It has excellent specific strength, excellent corrosion resistance and fracture toughness, as well as good welding processability and extreme temperature resistance, and can be strengthened by heat treatment. This alloy was initially developed for the aerospace market and is widely used in aerospace structural components.

Because of its good biocompatibility, low weight, durability and corrosion resistance, it is an ideal metal for medical devices and implants. During the melting process, interstitial elements such as iron and oxygen are strictly controlled to improve the ductility and fracture toughness of the alloy. Even at low temperatures as low as - 253 鈩, it can still maintain good toughness.
